Plastisol Composites manufactures bodies from GRP (Glass-fiber Reinforced Polyester). This composite material is produced using a ‘unique’ vacuum-injection process developed by Plastisol, in which resin is injected into the glass fiber and, where relevant, into the foam cores. Following curing, it results in an extremely strong ‘sandwich construction’ that is then painted in any required color.

The Plastisol bodies are ‘self-supporting’ and are mounted outboard of chassis frame rails with stress relieving “Meta-Cone” flexible mountings.
